The Center for Languages & Intercultural Communication welcomes applications for the position of Visiting Scholar from candidates whose research focus is aligned with the center's vision and mission statement. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
The position of Visiting Scholar is offered as a complimentary appointment with no monetary compensation or implication of extension of the appointment. CLIC will provide office space, access to Fondren Library, and invitations to participate in our professional development programs.
Interested scholars should submit a 2-page cover letter outlining their research objectives and how their projects align with the center's vision and mission statement, a C.V. and a recent publication sample (e.g., article or chapter). Letters of recommendation and any relevant additional materials may be requested after the initial review of the application.
Please send your application materials to CLICadmin@rice.edu. Applicants will receive a response no later than three weeks after submitting the required materials.
